licensed clinical psychologist | founder of west michigan psychological services & leslie roberts consulting

For more than two decades, Dr. Leslie Roberts has worked alongside children, families, and individuals navigating some of life’s most difficult transitions. From community mental health and child welfare systems to forensic psychology and executive leadership, her career has been rooted in one mission: helping families heal, grow, and move forward with clarity and compassion.

After earning her PhD in Clinical Psychology with a forensic specialization, Dr. Roberts spent years conducting psychological evaluations and working within high-conflict family systems, gaining firsthand insight into the profound impact unresolved conflict can have on children and parents alike.

In 2020, she founded West Michigan Psychological Services, growing the practice into a multi-location organization dedicated to accessible, high-quality mental health care and clinician development throughout West Michigan.

Today, Dr. Roberts has expanded her work into divorce coaching and education, helping parents navigate conflict before deeper damage occurs. Her approach combines psychological expertise with practical tools, compassionate guidance, and a deeply child-centered philosophy.

She believes that even the hardest transitions can become opportunities for resilience, healing, and meaningful new beginnings.
